Patient stories

Kind words from the people we have helped

Every recovery is different, but the feedback we hear most is that people finally understood their pain and felt looked after.

  • I'd had lower back pain on and off for years and assumed I would just have to live with it. Daniel explained exactly what was going on and gave me three exercises that actually fit into my day. Six weeks later I was back in the garden without giving it a second thought.

  • Kate got me from limping with a calf tear to the start line of my first half marathon. Every session had a clear purpose, and she never once made me feel daft for asking questions.

  • After my knee replacement I was nervous about doing too much too soon. The rehab plan was calm and clear, and it was built around my progress rather than a template.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can book directly with us without seeing your GP first. If we ever think you need a scan or a medical opinion, we will explain why and write to your GP for you.

What happens at my first appointment?

Your initial assessment lasts 60 minutes. We start by listening to your story, then look at how you move, explain what we think is going on in plain English, begin treatment and agree a plan together. You will leave knowing exactly what to do next.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes you can move in. Please bring shorts for knee, hip or ankle problems, and a vest top for neck or shoulder problems.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your problem and your goals. Many people need between three and six sessions, and some only need one or two. We will give you an honest estimate at your first appointment and never book you in for more than you need.

How do I pay?

By card or contactless at the end of each appointment. We can give you a receipt for every session, which is handy if you are claiming on health insurance.
